We are convinced that patients' experiences - good or bad - are essential to improving the NHS. But don't take our word for it. Health services frequently tell us how they have improved services as a direct result of feedback on the site.

You can see whether a health service has made any changes, simply by typing the name of that service into the search bar at the top right of the page, and looking in the box called 'Who's listening to your stories?'. When the service makes changes, they will be shown here.

Here's what some of the organisations that we work with have to say about Patient Opninion:

"...timely feedback and response has far more impact than any audit or review on effectiveness and satisfaction for everyone involved. "

Maria Slater - 5 Boroughs partnership NHS Trust

"....positive change has come about as a result of the critical postings. "

Graeme Nicholson - NHS Cumbria Langdale Unit

" Care Opinion has provided us with an important tool that has helped to improve the services we provide to our patients. "

John Tovey - Devon Access and Referral Team (DART)

" Care Opinion has been embraced by the staff at City Health Care Partnership. It is an easy way for service users to say thank you, and importantly to suggest service improvements and of course to voice any concerns. The Feedback we received on Care Opinion tells us which part of the service, is important and valued, which is a great benefit to our organisation. "

Andrew Burnell CE of Hull City Health Care Partnership CIC

" Care Opinion has provided all the NHS organisations in the West Midlands with a great new way of listening to and engaging with patients. Staff are now able to know immediately what patients think about the service they provide; this feedback lets them know what's working well or if there are any improvements to be made. We're really excited about this developing work engaging patients through Care Opinion. "
