"Machine breakdown during breast biopsy!"

During a breast biopsy in 2012 the machine that I was attached to suddenly stopped working properly! To anyone who has had this procedure done they will know what a predicament this was. An engineer had to be called to sort the problem. Great you might say, but I was hooked up to the machine and in a very vulnerable position. It was totally unacceptable for a very reputable hospital, and as you can imagine I was quite scared and anxious. However, I have to say that both the consultant and nurse on duty that day were so nice to me. They kept me well occupied and distracted while the machine was repaired. This happened at St. Vincents University Hospital.
