Feedback from a Partner who attended the Eolas programme in Sligo recently was:

" I was referred to the Eolas programme by the Psychiatry of Old Age Team which my partner attends. The programme has helped me to understand my partner's illness more fully"

Note: The EOLAS programme involves two mental health information and learning programmes, one for persons with a diagnosis of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder and another for their families and friends. Both programmes are available in the Sligo/Leitrim/South DonegalWest Cavan Mental Health Services.

Dear Partner

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your positive experience of attending the 8 week EOLAS programme. The focus of eah Eolas programme is on the promotion of recovery for the service user their families and carers through the provision of information and support

Once again we thank you for your response and I will share this information with the facilitators of the programme
