I was sent to the accident and emergency department as I was bleeding from my stoma. I have Crohn's disease. The doctors never even looked at the stoma. I was put on a drip and my bag was filling with blood. Nobody asked was I ok? Nobody asked if they would change my bag? Nobody asked if I needed to use the bathroom? Nobody asked me did I need pain relief? I felt as if I was dirty because of the bag. My confidence is now gone.
