The mental health team have spent September and October travelling the length and breadth of England talking to trusts about what online feedback means for healthcare and how they can make the most of it. So, what’s the next step?

By far the most important thing to do now is to raise awareness amongst service users, carers, families and all the many organisations across the country who are interested in service user involvement in healthcare. That means LINks and voluntary sector organisations as well as national and local charities (not excluding all those who are just super enthusiastic about the web).

We will be holding events throughout the next year and will do our best to put together programmes that are interesting and useful to you. What we do know is that people using the system, sharing their story or using stories to improve services, are far better at talking about the value of this new form of involvement than we are PO central will ever be. (See our "With a little help from our friends" blog). For this reason, we’d really love to hear about how you’re using Care Opinion and if you’re really compelling, we’ll want you to tell others at our events!

So, what’s coming up soon?

Tuesday 16th March: Revolutionising service user involvement

If you’re interested in coming along to any of our events (or would like to contribute) please get in touch with Amy on 01142 816256 or by e-mail.
