With Care Opinion offering free registration to all NHS and patient organisations, now is a great time to find out more about Care Opinion's current work and how to register your organisation.

This workshop will share what people are already doing with Care Opinion and explore how it can add value to engagement and commissioning. You'll hear from others in the region pioneering real change in services through near real-time online feedback. You will be able to register your organisation and find out how you can be alerted to and publicly respond to postings about the services that are relevant to you.

  • When: Wednesday 28th September, 9.30am-12.30pm
  • Where: The Abbey Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster
  • For who: NHS professionals, ideally those involved with patient feedback and/or service improvement

There will be plenty of opportunity to meet the Care Opinion team, ask questions and network with NHS subscribers to Care Opinion.

Online feedback is now firmly embedded as one of the ways all trusts are expected to engage with their patients and service users. The House of Commons Health Select Committee's report on NHS complaints and litigation was published only a few weeks ago, in which the committee made clear it saw "great value in providers constantly viewing the comments left about them on websites such as Care Opinion".

The committee went on to recommend "the use of tools that allow patients to give feedback anonymously and that can demonstrate that changes have been made to service provision based on feedback received".

The workshop is free but the number of places available is limited, so it's first come first served. To give as many people as possible the chance to attend, we're limiting you to sending a maximum of two people from your organisation.

Here's what people were saying after our workshop for NHS trusts in Yorkshire and The Humber:

"I really enjoyed my day and have picked up some good ideas for future events, so thanks for that. Home baked goodies were the icing on the cake!"

"There was a good mix of speakers and the exercises were different but enjoyable. It was a very relaxed day but one that I came away from feeling enthused and ready to go"

So come and find out what Care Opinion could do for your organisation and why everyone from the Health Select Committee to the Cabinet Office is talking about Care Opinion and other web-based feedback platforms.

To book a place at this workshop, please email Sarah as soon as possible. Places are limited and always book up quickly.

PS: Yes, it really is free!
